FCHS’s first-year J.A.G. (Jobs for America’s Graduates) class offers students experience and knowledge to prepare them for their job pathway ahead. It teaches students important skills such as building resumés, preparing for business/job interviews, and managing finances. Ms. Hayes, who teaches the J.A.G. class, and her students held a staff vs. students flag football tournament, giving them experience with running and being involved with a team to work together, much like it would be in a workplace. Along with offering the group readiness for their futures, it had an amazing turnout of people participating in and spectating the matches! The staff team conquered the student teams after a series of close games. It was a fantastic night, filled with smiles and many memories to look back on and commemorate the event. If you are interested in J.A.G. or have any questions, please email Ms. Hayes. ([email protected])
