Have you ever read a really good book and wished you could read something similar?
Or wished that there was a fun way to get you into reading?
Well, Ms. Silverman & Mr. Wahlstrom have got the solution for you!
Starting on Monday, February 2nd, the library will allow FCHS students to check out wrapped books based on their previous reads. The event will last for 20 days, ending on the 22nd. This event is heralded as “Blind Date With a Book.”
Those who choose to participate will be able to look at each wrapped book and determine whether they want to read the book based on short snippets of information given to them on its wrapping. Along with a fun new book to dive into, participants will get a free Valentine’s Day bookmark. So, if you can, open a new book and start your new chapter of reading by participating in “Blind Date With a Book.”
The event will be open for all FCHS students, anytime, any (of the scheduled) day(s).
