After the massive success over the Amazon Prime show, Invincible. Skybound and the creators of Invincible had just released the first game of Invincible, Invincible VS. Invincible Vs is a 3v3 fighting game, similar to other gaming franchises like Super Smash Bros by Nintendo and Mortal Kombat by Midway Games. There will be no spoilers for the initial story of the game.
Invincible VS has 3 main modes, The first one is Story Mode where you play an Alternative Timeline with the majority of the Main Characters being the same way in the show or be completely different. The second mode is the Versus mode, which is the most common game mode in any fighter game. The last Mode that is the most basic mode is the Training Mode, where people can get on any map or character and test the character and their move set. Speaking of characters, majority of the characters from the series is shown with some new people voicing the characters and some from the show like Invincible (voiced by Aleks Le) who is the new voice for Invincible for this game and Omni Man (voiced by J.K Simmons) reprises his Role for the game. The game had an open beta at the beginning of March which had cut off majority of the initial game but still had some of the basic need so that people can play and test this new fighter game.
I have played the beta through the entire time frame that it was released in beta, and in my opinion the game is alright. This game is like an average fighting game where it has main specific characters on most recognizable maps which are just the basics for a licensed fighter game like this. I like the character selection that they have chosen for the game, and their move sets are pretty accurate to how they actually fight in the show.
Overall, this fighter game is just an average fighter game with some characters being absolutely horrible, and some characters being broken to the point where they need to be nerfed.
