WrestleMania 42 Night 1 & 2 Results
WrestleMania has finally ended with crazy matches and some like rushed matches with too many commercials for both nights 1 and 2. Although that was an issue, there were a few surprises that will be covered here as well. There were also a few surprises, like a shocking return from a female WWE Superstar who hasn’t been with the company for 8 years, and there was a shocking, sadly, upsetting, and unexpected retirement that took place on Night 2 at the first hour of WrestleMania 42.
First Night of WrestleMania 42 the Results for Night 1 of WrestleMania 42, are the following: the Six-Man Tag-Team match between Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, LA Knight vs IShowSpeed, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory, the winners were the team of the USOs with LA Knight and the ending after they won Logan Paul was put on the commentary table because he was bad mouthing Speed so Knight attacked him and set him the commentary table and the USOs talked IShowSpeed to jump off the top rope to hit Paul with a frog splash which actually looked pretty cool, Bianaca Bleair returned but with a suprise she announced she revealed her belly showing that she is pregant and is having a baby. The unsanctioned match between Jacob Fatu vs Drew McIntyre, the winner of the match was Jacob Fatu. The Fatal-4-Way Women’s Tag-Team Match (for the belts) winners were the Bella Twins, but with a twist, Nikki Bella was not able to get medically cleared for her ankle to be able to compete, so she called an old friend, and that person was Paige, who hasn’t been in a WWE ring since leaving WWE in 2018, so the winner of it was Bre Bella and Paige. The Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match winner was Becky Lynch, defeating AJ Lee. The singles match between Gunther vs Seth Rollins, the winner was Gunther by submission, but with a shocking return by Bron Breakker, who was a part of the Vision Rollins created with Paul Heyman. In the Women’s World Championship Match, the winner was Liv Morgan, who defeated Stephanie Vaquer by pinfall, making Liv Morgan the new Women’s World Champion. The Main Event for Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 Undisputed WWE Championship Match Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs Randy Orton (The Viper). The winner of that match was Cody Rhodes, retaining the Belt. Still, at the end of the match Orton takes the Belt and hits him with the belt then proceeds to punt Cody Rhodes like 2009 Randy Orton, which both superstars are feeling the aftermath of the match Rhodes had to have many stitches to his head and staples in the back of his head, but also is not medically cleared to compete, so no one really knows the status of the Champion and what happens next.
Second Night of WrestleMania 42: The results for Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 are the following: The Singles Match between Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar, the winner of the match was Oba Femi, but also after the match, Oba Femi went back to the locker room, and Brock Lesnar sat up in the middle of the ring started to become emotional and cry as he took off his gloves and untie his shoes and take them off and leave them in the middle of the ring he got up acknowledged the crowd waved at them then his long time advocate Paul Heyman got in the ring was emotional as well Lesnar looked at him in tears and gestured to Heyman with his arms crossing making an “X” Heyman embraced Lesnar by hugging him he acknowledged the crowd a few more times, then started walking to stage (where they come out to go to the ring) with no shoes, no gloves as he left them in the center of the ring. The Six-Man Intercontinental Championship ladder match between Penta (champion), Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Rusev, Rey Mysterio, and JD McDoagh, the winner of that match was Penta, retaining his championship. The United States Championship Match between Sami Zayn (champion) vs Trick Williams. The winner of the match was Trick Williams, becoming the new United States Champion. The Singles Match between Dominick Mysterio vs The “Demon” Finn Balor, the winner of the match was The “Demon” Finn Balor. The WWE Women’s Championship Match between Jade Cargill (champion) vs Rhea Ripley, with the winner of the match being Rhea Ripley, becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion. The Main Event for Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk (champion) vs Roman Reigns. The winner of that match was Roman Reigns, becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
