skate. has been out since July of 2025, created by Full Circle. This is the 4th game in the Skate Franchise, following up the most popular game, Skate 3. Full Circle is the new developer for skate, they have been working on this game since 2020. They have taken the games after the late company, EA Black Box, Who were the original creators of the first 3 skate games.
The game takes place in San Vansterdam, where it is a combination of real world skating spots and areas. It is a open world game where you can make your own character, choose your own decisions, and play the game how you want to play. There is multiple different spots you can go to and explore the map as you find challenges to help you unlock some pretty cool stuff. There is a total of 4 districts on the map and you can level up in each area to unlock new cosmetics and challenges to further help you level up. They also have a shop where you can spend your currency you unlocked by playing the game or buying currency so if you want something without the grind, then you could get it. There are collaborations and brands that are in the game like Issac Clark from the hit game, Dead Space. The game is in open beta so there are still multiple glitches that still need to be fixed and new things will progressively get added over time.
Out of a rating of 10, I would give this game a 8 out of 10. This game is still really good but after a lot of hours on the game you can start getting burnt out of the game. The glitches that are currently in the game are not bad as before cause they have fixed them, but there is still some glitches that can affect your game play and make it seem unfair. But the game itself is still good, even though it is in open beta. So once the game gets completely fixed and not an open beta anymore, then it could potentially be one of the best Skate games in the franchise.
