The new year means the remainder of Seniors are now required to begin working on their 1 semester Senior projects. Each Senior has to create a project that would impact our community at the school or all around the Franklin area that relates to our school.
Each senior has the task to pick out what they would like to do, like walking dogs around the neighborhood or even helping teach a group of kids a skill that you are good at. Each senior has to complete a 20 hour goal and to record their process over the span of 4 months. If a student is in Central 9, Does Cadet Teaching, Peer Mentor, Bio-med Internship, or Principles of Teaching, then the students will be able to take 15 out of their 20 hours for doing one of the following.
The Projects start at the 1st semester of the school year or the 3rd semester as you take the reminder to finish your project in time for the deadline. Students then would have to create a slideshow showing their process that they have recorded throughout the months, and include them in your slides when you present your project. For the Spring Seniors who are currently doing their projects right now, will need to have their projects finished by May 24th of this year.
