Black Ops 7’s story is kinda dissappointing. The game tries really hard to be dark, trippy, and futuristic with hallucinations and weird mind-bending stuff, but most of the time it just feels confusing instead of cool. There are some good moments, and the throwbacks to old Black Ops games are nice if you’re a longtime fan, but they really don’t save the story. The characters are not that memorable, and it’s hard to actually care what is happening. The campaign also feels like it was made more for co op more than solo, which sucks if you are playing alone. Overall, it’s not awful, but it doesn’t hit like the older Call of duty black ops. I don’t think any more Call of dutys that are made will be as good as the older ones, maybe that’s nostalgia, but that’s just what I think.
