As of writing this page, we are currently sitting at a month away till the release of the Michael Jackson biopic, coming on April 24th. The movie is getting produced by Graham King, the same guy that had produced Bohemian Rhapsody back in 2018. The movie will show Michael Jackson throughout his youth and show us the beginning of Michael becoming a superstar.
The movie will start by showing us his childhood, when Michael and his brothers formed The Jackson Five and what they used to do for practicing and general behind the scenes of what would happen at their home and on stage. The film will most likely show the abuse of Michael’s Father, who would hit Michael and his brothers every time they would mess up while practicing a song or one of their dances for a specific song. It will also most likely show us how Michael was raised in Gary Indiana, with the general bad around the area and the discrimination that would be seen around there during that time in Michael’s life.
The movie will continue by showing him growing up with the band and having his own struggles as an upcoming music artist. We will see the creations of some of his first Solo albums like Off The Wall, and it’ll show us the process of Michael recording the music and the music video for one of the songs in the album. It will show us the fame that Michael would get from this Album and show us his first ever concerts where he had announced that he will be going solo for now and to split up The Jackson Five. It will also show some of Michael’s most important moments at this time like when he had won 8 Grammy awards from one album, to the Pepsi Commercial incident where Michael’s hair got caught on fire.
The movie will most likely end after the Pepsi commercial incident to where they begin on Michael’s downfall where he had to fix his hair and to even change his skin color. I think that they won’t show his album, “Bad” because i think that if this movie becomes a success, then they will start the second one with the Bad album. This movie was originally going to show the entirety of Michael’s life but they had to cut it short because of the time frame that they would have to make this film and would immediately start filming the second part once the main movie gets traction. The movie is coming out on April 24th so if you like Michael Jackson than i would highly recommend checking out this movie!
