Netflix has Collabed with Dead by Daylight to bring some more of their characters into their game. Dead by Daylight is a survival game where you and 3 other survivors must complete generators in order to escape from a killer that can attack you throughout the game and can sabotage your game play. Dead by Daylight has been a sensational hit since 2016 and is continuing to thrive to this day. The game is rated M because of the specific things that are included in the game.
This is Netflix’s 2nd collaboration with Dead by Daylight as they have added some previous characters a couple years ago. In the first wave, they added Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler as survivors that you could buy and they also added The Demogorgon which was the main villain in the first season and appears throughout the series. You can buy cosmetics from this chapter as they added some iconic outfits for Steve and Nancy, and included Johnathan Byers as a Legendary Skin. They also remade the Hawkins laboratory that you could play on.
The 2nd wave just came out as they brought Eleven and Dustin Henderson along into the game. They also have cosmetics you can buy and also included Robin Buckly as a Legendary skin for Nancy and Eddie Munson for Dustin. The killer that also came along with this chapter is the primary villain in the rest of the seasons, Venca. They gave him a nickname, “The First” which is so that the players know that there is another Vecna in the game, from Dungeons and Dragons.
In my opinion, I think both of these chapters are great in the game itself. They all look really cool and kind of accurate to the show itself. The one key downside I have to these chapters is that they aren’t actually voiced by the actual people that played the characters. I know that Netflix would have to agree to using their actors but the people that they have casted to voice all the characters are great. If i had to give a rating on both chapters, i would give chapter 1 a 8/10, they introduced the people into the game and it brought more people to play the game which is good. I would give chapter 2 a 9/10 only because they added more characters that i like and they look actually accurate to the actors. Both chapters are currently available to purchase in the store and will be in store for a long time.
