Thursday, March 12th, Student Council hosted the annual March Madness 3v3 tournament. Each participant paid $5 to play. Students and staff from the high school created teams of 3-5 to play basketball games. Games were played for 5 minutes, or the first team to 20 points. The tournament was single elimination, bracket style, and was hosted to raise money for student council funds. The specific area that the student council is funding is the end of the year raffle prizes for “great grizzlies,” which is an award for good behavior. After a long night of games, there was only one winner. Team “generations” was first place, which was our only staff team consisting of Mr. Peace, Mrs. Jennings, and Ty. Thank you to all the teams who came out, and helped raise money.
