Your Grizzly Cubs fall sports are coming to an end, and with that comes postseason for these sports. In cross country, Liam Fennig won the sectional, and as a team, the Grizzly Cubs finished 3rd. Liam then placed 3rd in the regional to qualify for state. Wish him luck for his race. For the girls’ cross country sectional, your Cubs finished second, and our highest placer was Adriana Sichting. Your girls’ volleyball team won the sectional match 3-0, making it the 3rd year in a row of being sectional champs. The following regional match was lost 0-3. Make sure to congratulate your fellow Cubs. Football enters the postseason and plays its sectional semi-finals at East Central. Wish them the best of luck. Winter sports are approaching, and kicking them off is girls’ basketball, with a scrimmage Thursday vs Pike, and their first official game on November 6th at home vs Mount Vernon.

I am a Junior in high school at Franklin Community. I enjoy going to social events, unless I am at work or doing something for media. I stay busy to keep myself in check and make sure I don’t lack. In my free time, I take care of my hamster, and sleep for the most part. My future plans are to go to college and be an Athletic Trainer.
